By accessing our Website, requesting service, approving an estimate, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these Terms.

Scope of Services

Good Clean Plumbing provides residential plumbing services including repairs, replacements, inspections, drain cleaning, excavation, tunneling, water heaters, gas piping, and related work. Not all services, disclosures, or warranties apply to every project.

Estimates, Authorization, and Payment Terms

All estimates and invoices are governed by these Terms.

  • Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • A 2.8% Card Payment Fee applies to all credit and debit card payments.
  • Cash, ACH, and check payments are accepted at no additional charge.
  • A service fee will be charged for returned checks.
  • Overdue balances may accrue a financing charge of 1.5% per month.
  • Customer authorizes Good Clean Plumbing to collect payment using the method provided.

Failure to remit payment may result in suspension of services and collection actions as permitted by Texas law.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
  • Remove or protect furniture, personal items, wall hangings, and valuables
  • Ensure utilities and facilities are available for the duration of the work
  • Disclose known plumbing issues, prior repairs, underground conditions, and site limitations

Good Clean Plumbing is not responsible for damage to personal property left in affected work or access areas.

Site Conditions, Work Impact, and Risk Acknowledgement

Plumbing work may involve dust, noise, excavation, concrete removal, tunneling, coring, and disturbance of existing systems.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Concrete removal and excavation create dust and debris; customer is responsible for preventive measures and cleanup beyond reasonable job site management.
  • Landscaping, irrigation, sidewalks, rocks, unidentified utilities, and underground obstructions may be disturbed during excavation. Good Clean Plumbing will take precautions but is not responsible for damage to these items.
  • Drain cleaning equipment may damage deteriorated, compromised, or pre-existing piping.
  • Older systems, concealed conditions, or prior installations may fail when disturbed.
  • Good Clean Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing or concealed defects discovered during the work.

Customer-Supplied Fixtures and Materials

  • No warranty is provided for customer-supplied fixtures, valves, appliances, or materials.
  • Customer-supplied items are installed one time only per manufacturer specifications.
  • Plastic drain components may leak; brass components are recommended.
  • Any follow-up service related to customer-supplied items will be billed separately on a time-and-material basis.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing on the estimate or invoice:

  • Unless otherwise stated, services where Good Clean Plumbing supplies materials are warrantied for two (2) years, parts and labor.
  • Drain lines replaced via tunneling are warrantied for three (3) years, unless stated otherwise.
  • Labor-only items are warrantied for one (1) year, workmanship only.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to applicable materials.
  • No warranty applies to:
    • Drains cleared without video inspection
    • Customer-supplied materials
    • Pre-existing or unrelated system failures
    • Conditions caused by excessive water pressure, misuse, neglect, or external factors

Warranty coverage may be void if recommended corrective actions are declined.

This warranty language is informational and does not supersede specific written warranty terms provided with an estimate or invoice.

Code Compliance and Water Pressure

Good Clean Plumbing follows all current plumbing code standards and may require the resolution of a secondary issue in order to bring the plumbing system up to code. Options may be presented; refusal releases Good Clean Plumbing from liability related to that system or any work completed.

If water pressure exceeds 80 PSI (or a lower jurisdictional limit), Good Clean Plumbing will not perform work on the water distribution system until the issue is corrected.

Gas Systems

Good Clean Plumbing is responsible only for gas piping installed after the gas meter and sized per applicable plumbing codes. The customer is responsible for confirming that the utility provider supplies adequate gas volume and pressure.

Permits and Inspections

Where required, Good Clean Plumbing will schedule plumbing inspections. Fees or inspections arranged by others are not the responsibility of Good Clean Plumbing.

Photography, Signage, and Marketing Use

Customer grants permission for:

  • Temporary jobsite signage
  • Photographs or videos of work performed
  • Use of such materials for marketing, advertising, social media, training, or promotional purposes

If a customer voluntarily appears in a photo or video, the customer grants consent for the use of their likeness for these purposes.

Automated Communication

By calling Good Clean Plumbing, requesting service, or providing your phone number via any form, you expressly consent to receive:

  • Automated or prerecorded calls
  • Text messages (SMS/MMS)
  • Service notifications, appointment reminders, estimates, invoices, and follow-up communications

Communications may be sent using automated dialing technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Good Clean Plumbing shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. Liability for any claim arising from services provided shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Good Clean Plumbing from claims arising from:

  • Undisclosed site or underground conditions
  • Customer-supplied materials or fixtures
  • Work performed by other trades
  • Failure to follow recommendations, safety guidance, or code requirements

Disputes and Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the services provided by Good Clean Plumbing, including the interpretation, performance, or breach of these Terms, shall first be addressed through good-faith informal discussions between the parties.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal efforts, either party may elect to have the dispute resolved by binding arbitration administered in the State of Texas in accordance with applicable arbitration rules then in effect. The arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties, or, if the parties cannot agree, appointed pursuant to the applicable arbitration rules.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from:

  • Filing a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction where arbitration is not required by law or is not elected by either party; or
  • Seeking temporary, injunctive, or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

If arbitration is elected, the arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Relationship to Privacy Policy

These Terms operate alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs data collection and usage. In the event of conflict, the Privacy Policy controls matters related to personal information.

Changes to These Terms

Good Clean Plumbing reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
